Cystitis Relief
TL;DR
something.
Most cystitis relief products sold in the UK consist of six sachets of 2-4 grams of sodium or potassium citrate, along with flavouring and a sweetener (or sugar). These salts must then be mixed with water and have an unpleasant taste, despite the flavouring and sweetness. Most brands, including supermarket's own brands are usually sold at a high cost, for £4 or more (January 2025) for a two day source of six 4 gram doses.
However, a large bottle of either sodium or potassium citrate in tablet form, avoiding the need to swallow a distasteful drink, can be had for around £10 and contains the equivalent of at least 10 packs of a branded cystitis relief product, which would cost at least £40.
