Tooth Whitening

With teeth & gum moulds and gel prescribed by a dentist, all good.

In the UK, tooth-whitening treatments can only legally be performed by dentists and other professionals registered with the General Dental Council (GDC). Products used in treatments cannot contain more than 6% hydrogen peroxide.1

Whilst it is legal to sell tooth-whitening products containing less than 0.1% hydrogen peroxide, it is still illegal to use them to provide teeth-whitening treatment unless it is performed by a dentist or other professional registered with the GDC.

Do not use whitening toothpastes as they are abrasive and thin the tooth enamel (which doesn't regrow) meaning your teeth end up looking more yellow in the long term.
